Setting up your email account in Outlook or Thunderbird<\/h2>\n

With a few simple steps, you can set up your email account in Outlook or Thunderbird. Just follow this guide:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

1. Open account settings<\/h4>\n

Start Outlook and open Account Settings. Select the desired email account or add a new one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

2. Enter account details<\/h4>\n

Enter the following information:<\/p>\n

  • Your Name: Desired display name<\/li>\n
  • Email address: Your full email address<\/li>\n
  • Account type: IMAP or POP3<\/li>\n
  • Incoming mail server: vs-73.webhoster.ag<\/li>\n
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): vs-73.webhoster.ag<\/li>\n
  • Username: Your email address (e.g., xyz@xyz.de)<\/li>\n
  • Password: Your personal password (see activation overview)<\/li>\n

    Click \u201eMore settings\u201c and go to the \u201eOutgoing server\u201c tab.

    4. Advanced Settings<\/h4>\n

    Switch to the \u201eAdvanced\u201c tab and enter the following server data:

    • Encryption: Automatic<\/li>\n
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): 587<\/li>\n
